About Sophia

My journey has taken me from customer service, to banking, to after school programs. I discovered my passion for tutoring after I myself started college, I realized how strongly I feel about counteracting negative effects of misuse of technology from young ages. It is a crucial time in our society to keep learners engaged, and I am passionate about people being able to read, write, and think for ourselves. I am gladly patient and friendly, yet direct. Learners from 0-99+ are welcome; any background, no judgment or shame, only clarity and confidence!

About the lesson

Not everyone has the same learning styles, in fact, you could say there are as many learning styles as there are people. My goal is to personalize a successful, comprehensive learning experience for you, or your child. From beginning to read, to developing their thesis, I have been blessed to help many bright souls gain greater grasps on English as a first or second language. Together we can sharpen communication and presentation skills, deepen our understanding of language, and boost confidence through education. I am here to help learners of all ages and backgrounds succeed.
