About Logan
I am natural born teacher, and lover of chess. As of 06/2023 I am a ~1400 rating in both daily and rapid (10-30min) chess. I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelors in aerospace engineering and minors in astronomy and mathematics.

The lessons are tailored for younger chess players to first learn the basics of chess: piece movement, structure, and analysis. I utilize puzzles and high level games to convey current strategy and tactics. Depending on the student's weaknesses I will focus on openings, mid-game, and end-game to improve their overall game.
