About Amber
I have been working at my current school for 16 years. I have worked in special education classes and in behavioral classrooms. My students know they can count on me. They know if they need help in any subject that I will assist them. I am always available to my students. I keep open communication between my students and parents. My students know that they can be themselves in my room. I am flexible and understanding. What some teachers don’t understand or get, I get it. We all learn differently and we all need different supports.

I find it easy to connect to all children of all ages. I have extensive experience in teaching whole group and small group, as well as remote learning. I will work with your child to strengthen their foundational skills and build confidence along the way. If there is something specific you like to work on, we can! I am open to any skills or topics you child may need. Do you need help reinforcing self-care skills or helping with accountability? We can work on that too.
