About Maria Isabel

Learning a new language can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to speaking. My priority is to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and asking questions.

I hold a degree in Language and Literature Education from my country and, after moving to the United States, pursued a career in healthcare while continuing to teach Spanish on the side. I bring over 10 years of experience tutoring students one-on-one in person, and more recently online, which allows me to adapt easily to different learning styles and goals. I’m reliable, well-prepared, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. Each lesson is structured, encouraging, and focused on building confidence and real improvement. Students appreciate my patience, clarity, and ability to explain things in a way that finally makes sense.

I’m a native Spanish speaker with a background in Education and a thorough, formal knowledge of Spanish grammar and syntax. I combine linguistic accuracy with a practical, real-life approach so you can speak Spanish clearly, confidently, and naturally.
