About Ted
I am an English teacher during 30 years and have learned that there are two books that helped me, they were "English Sentence Structure" and the workbook "English Sentence Practices". These two books help the student to see how the English sentences are structured and how to create new ones. They are practical in a conversation also.
I understand today better than ever the idea of the phrase, “practice makes perfect what you do”. As I teach I always ask my students if they are listening to English programs and videos and speaking English. I also ask them if in their time alone ,in the traffic or not are they speaking English.
I learned that it is very important to create sentences on your own.
I found out that repetition in anything you do is important.
My pleasure is to teach English.
There are moments when you learn from your mistakes, and the another moment when you learn from the moments you do something right and that is what you repeat!

I teach my students to not get upset with mistakes but to learn from them!

My English classes are based on English grammar and conversation. It is important to read out loud and create new sentences.
Let me explain, when I was a teenager at home one day in Ecuador. I was playing outside and needed to go inside. As I went into the house I heard my father read an English book out loud, what? Yes he was reading a book out loud and I thought how crazy he speaks English so well. You see, he was reading out loud to remember certain words to keep in his mind when he would need them.
I did the same. I read books out loud in Spanish and in a couple of months I was speaking and remembering what I had lost.
