About Gabriel
¡Hola a todos! My name is Gabriel, and I’m a native Spanish speaker originally from Latin America. I’ve been living in London for the past twelve years, and for over five years, I’ve been working in education across various schools, academies and colleges. I teach Spanish at all levels — from KS2 to KS5, as well as adult education.
My Teaching Approach:
I deliver my lessons primarily in Spanish, mixed with English support where needed and use a wide variety of interactive activities to engage learners and boost memory retention and language fluency. My goal is to make learning Spanish both effective and enjoyable for all my students.
Qualifications:
PGCE with QTS – Coventry University
Diploma in Education & Training Level 5 with QTLS – Empire College, London
BA in Business and Finance – Buckinghamshire New University
Current Work & Passion:
Currently, I teach Spanish in a secondary school and dedicate my free time to tutoring and teaching in local charities. Teaching is my true passion and I take pride in supporting students of all backgrounds to achieve their language goals.

In my lessons, I typically use Spanish as the main language of instruction, especially for activities and communication, while integrating English explanations when it comes to grammar rules and verb tenses. This balanced approach helps students immerse themselves in the language while still clearly understanding key concepts.
I structure my lessons around the three P’s approach: Presentation, Practice, and Production. I place strong emphasis on drilling, revision, and reinforcement, ensuring students build solid long-term memorisation and confident language use.
My teaching style mirrors that of a secondary school environment, but with added creativity and flexibility — allowing me to go beyond standard curriculum when needed, and adapt to each student’s pace and learning style.
