About ALBA

My name is Alba and I currently live in Ottawa.
I am a Spanish teacher and I also have a degree in kindergarten and elementary school teaching.

At the beginning of the year I finished my Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and I was very lucky to have been able to do my internship at the University of Ottawa.

I love teaching and I have been able to observe in countries like Scotland and Kuwait how nice it is to see how people learn my mother tongue and have fun doing it.
I like to tailor my classes to each person, as being private it is always best to focus on the student, their needs, improve their weaknesses and accentuate their strengths. I believe that a language should be learned in a communicative way so most of the classes are based on that practice.

If you want to improve any other skills or specific topics, we can work on what you want to improve since I make personalized plans.
Experience as a Spanish teacher at the International Baccalaurate.
Experience teaching Spanish to children, teenagers and adults.

Alba is an excellent teacher. She is very sweet and patient in her classes, she focuses on your weaknesses and explains things in a dynamic and fun way, her material is not boring.

She helps you a lot with pronunciation and I notice that she prepares the classes specially, so I feel that I make good use of my time.

I have been learning with her for a few months and I have improved a lot. I have really found the perfect teacher!!!! I totally recommend her, giving her a chance was the best!!!!!!!!

Alba es una excelente profesora. Es muy dulce y paciente en sus clases, se centra en tus debilidades y te explica las cosas de forma dinámica y divertida, su material no es aburrido. Te ayuda mucho con la pronunciación y noto que se prepara las clase especialmente, por lo que siento que aprovecho bien el tiempo.

Llevo unos meses aprendiendo con ella, he mejorado muchísimo. Realmente he encontrado a la profesora perfecta!!! La recomiendo totalmente, darle una oportunidad fue lo mejor!!!!!!!!
