About Luz
I have a bachelor's and master’s degree in Spanish, did a study abroad program in Guadalajara, and grew up speaking Spanish as my native language. I have taught at the university, community colleges, and different school districts k-12. Thank you!

I am a native Spanish speaker, grew up in Mexico, and have over 20 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I taught and tutored Spanish as a target language in all levels for beginners, intermediate, advanced and Spanish for native Spanish speakers. I use the communicative method, and different teaching methods, while personalizing different learning styles for students. Students will learn vocabulary, phrases, how to read, write, listen, have a conversation, based on themes and topics of their interests. I have experience working with students of all age groups, different backgrounds and I am patient and flexible to the student's needs.
