About Cova
I have a Degree in Business Management for Leisure and I worked in the Leisure industry for 20 years.
I am a Spanish native and I started tutoring adults as a hobbie after work. In September 2018 I started Initial Teacher Training at Bath Spa University and I qualified in June 2019.
I have teaching experience in Bath schools from KS3 to A Level.
I can support school schemes of work or build personalized plans to achieve the target marks. I have trained to achieve specific progress within a lesson and to be able to constantly assess measurable attainment.

Being native I like to share the grammar rules that we learn in school in Spain and that normally are never taught here so the student can understand how the language works. This helps to reduce memorisation and aids the ability to associate, recognise patterns and manipulate the language independently. When suitable, I like to create and adapt original resources to practice skill based learning, specially for speaking and listening.
Having recently qualified as a teacher, I know how to teach to the exams and help students to raise their target mark. I have trained to plan and achieve progress within each lesson. I create plans that target the goal the student wants to achieve and specifically work towards it building on previous knowledge.
Lessons normally have an objective and when possible cover the 4 skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening.
