Ro was my Italian professora at WVU, many moons ago. Her masterful teaching style and passion for instruction helped me learn conversational Italian. Fast forward to when I finally could afford to travel to Italy, I took a refresher course with Ro through Zoom. Her creative materials, intimate knowledge of how the brain holds on to a foreign language, and limitless enthusiasm helped me learn Italian so well, I had no trouble at all navigating Rome's mass transit system, negotiating deals at the markets, and understanding the ins-and-outs of Italian culture.
