About Carmela

¡Hola! I’m Carmela, an experienced Spanish teacher living in Toronto, CA with 10+ years of experience. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve taught Spanish and English to students of all levels, from small children to adults. I have a bachelor’s degree in teaching and language methodology and have taught both, face-to-face and online lessons. During our Spanish lessons, you’ll tell me what your goals are and a little bit about yourself. Each class is customized for your goals. My job is to help you reach your learning goals by providing dynamic classes that include grammar, listening, writing and reading. Don’t worry though, I’ll still make sure we have fun in class!

About the lesson

Are you looking for Spanish lessons that are beginner friendly with a flexible schedule? Would you like to practice your Spanish for a test?

Learn how to read, write and speak fluent Spanish with the help of a native tutor. Whether you know some Spanish or you are a Level 1 beginner, I will help you reach your learning goals.

Each of our lessons will be easy-to-understand, 100% customized to your level, and at your own pace. I will design a study program for you based on your Spanish level, and using modern methods. We will then set your goals and what you expect from our lessons.

Learning a new language like Spanish takes effort, and some time, however, I promise to make your learning experience a fun and enriching. This is not set on stone though, you are more than welcome to message me your expectations and I will work to deliver the best learning experience for you.

She knows her stuff on the Spanish, that goes without saying, but her warmness, enthusiasm and desire to tailor the learning to you is really something special. If you are an atypical learner, Carmella should be your first choice. And if you are a more typical learner, you should still go with Carmela.
