About Paulette

I'm a bilingual tutor, fluent in both English and Spanish, with Spanish as my native language. I’ve had the opportunity to tutor elementary, middle, and high school students, and I always adapt my teaching style to fit each student's preferred way of learning. I understand how challenging learning a new language can be—especially in a school setting—so I aim to make my lessons clear, comfortable, and fun. As someone who’s grown up using both languages daily, I bring real-life situations to each lesson, which helps me explain things in a relatable way. I like to be clear and on time when it comes to a pre-scheduled meeting. I am organized and try to make a schedule that is comfortable and easy to maintain. I'm patient, professional, and committed to helping you reach your Spanish goals with confidence. My lessons are fully online and I offer flexible scheduling to make learning as easy and accessible as possible.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating creative and understandable lessons where students feel confident learning Spanish. Your lesson will be personalized; meaning this will depend on your goals, your level, your favorite way of learning, etc. I do have better experience with elementary/middle school students but I am open to any grade level or even graduates. At our first session I would mostly focus on getting to know you. Where you are at in the language, your preferred way of learning, what you would like to focus on (grammar, pronunciation, etc.) what are your particular goals, etc. Based on this I will prepare lesson plans adapted to you. What sets me apart is that I’m a bilingual teen myself. I understand what it’s like to learn and study languages at school, so I can explain things in a clear, relatable way. I’m patient, positive, and always open to adjusting the lessons to what works best for you. As I said before, these lessons are ideal for anyone who wants to reinforce or start learning Spanish in a simple, enjoyable way. I teach online and I’m flexible with scheduling!
