About Kelly

Over the last 10 years I’ve taught Spanish to people of all ages, levels and backgrounds. While I loved teaching at San Francisco State University during my Master’s program in Spanish and Latin American literature, I’ve realized that many people need tailored language training that the classroom setting doesn’t provide.

I’m also a Personal Performance Coach, and I incorporate my coaching expertise into my custom language programs as needed, to ensure that my clients really do achieve the results they want.

Ready to upgrade your Spanish language skills? I teach customized, private and semi-private classes to people who want to speak Spanish like a native speaker.

I have a deep appreciation for what you’re going through on your journey to master Spanish. My own love affair with Spanish began in middle school. After many years of regular language classes, I finally achieved fluency by studying and living in Costa Rica and Spain. I’ve learned firsthand what doesn’t really work in traditional language instruction, and I’ve also experienced the personal breakthroughs YOU’LL need to have to overcome your fear of speaking Spanish in public. I offer a real world approach to learning that will allow you to discover yourself as a Spanish speaker.

ONLINE SESSIONS
Private tutoring in Spanish is available online via Skype, whether you are taking one of my courses, are enrolled in another Spanish course, or are going on a business trip in a month and want daily private instruction to increase your language skills at a rapid pace.

Your first private tutoring session will be an hour long, which will allow me to determine your level and the skill areas you need to work on most. To allow for maximum benefit, your private tutoring sessions can be recorded and sent to you for review and self-study at no additional charge.
