About Claudia
English/Ingles
I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. I was only taught Spanish during my time in Cuba. After coming to the United States, I went to a bilingual school where they help you ease into learning english but keep your native language alive. My parents did not know how to speak english; and like many hispanic children, I grew up helping my family translate for almost anything that required speaking english.

Nací y crecí en Havana, Cuba. Solo me enseñaron español durante mi tiempo en Cuba. Después de venir a los Estados Unidos, fui a una escuela bilingüe donde te ayudan a aprender inglés con facilidad, pero mantienen vivo tu idioma nativo. Mis padres no sabían hablar inglés y, como muchos niños hispanos, crecí ayudando a mi familia a traducir casi todo lo que requería hablar inglés.
