About Maria Camila

Hello! My name is Maria Camila, I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, currently living in Malta, where I learned English. Because I’ve gone through the process of learning a new language myself, I understand that it takes patience, consistency, and confidence. That’s why I create a calm, friendly space where you can speak Spanish without pressure and enjoy the learning journey. About the lesson

As a native Spanish speaker, I focus on helping students feel confident using Spanish in real situations. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and based on real conversation, supported by practical vocabulary and clear grammar when needed. Each lesson includes: A short warm-up (review or small talk) A focused topic or goal (e.g., describing your day, making plans) Speaking and listening practice through guided conversation Corrections, explanations, and useful expressions A summary with vocabulary and optional homework sent by email I also correct any completed homework and send personalized feedback to help you improve. My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate learners (teenagers and adults) who want to practice speaking naturally, improve fluency, or prepare for travel, daily life, or casual conversation. What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging approach and the attention I give to each student after class—with summaries, corrections, and support so you keep progressing between lessons.
