About Laura

My name is Laura Dianez, I'm 20 years old, and I'm from the South of Spain.

My passion for teaching Spanish was born after living for 6 months in the United States. There, I experienced firsthand the challenge and excitement of communicating in another language. I also understood how enriching it is to share your own language and culture.

That's why I now want to do exactly that from the other side: to teach you my native language with the patience, empathy, and energy I found there.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Laura, a native teacher from Spain. My goal isn't just to teach grammar rules, but to help you live Spanish, to gain the confidence to communicate naturally and effectively.

My approach is communicative and personalized; I believe you learn by speaking. From the very first class, I prioritize conversation, adapting to your interests and goals (travel, business, exam preparation, etc.).

My classes are dynamic and I combine different activities (conversation, listening comprehension, role-plays, creative writing) to keep motivation high and cover all language skills.

- Example of a Typical Class Program (60 minutes)

1. Warm-up (5-10 min): Informal chat. "How was your week?" "Did you see any interesting news?" We reactivate Spanish naturally.

2. Review & Questions (10 min): We briefly go over what we saw in the previous class and resolve any questions.

3. Main block, with vocabulary, grammar, and practice: Topic of the day (30-35 min):

Example: Ordering at a restaurant and talking about food.

Vocabulary: We start from a real menu. We learn dish names, cooking styles, typical Spanish ingredients.

Grammar in context: We review structures for making requests and expressing likes/dislikes.

Practice: We simulate a restaurant situation (role-play) and discuss a short video of a Spanish chef.

4. Wrap-up & Homework (5-10 min): We summarize what we learned and I give you a light task: for example, writing a review of an amazing (or terrible) restaurant you invent.

Organized but flexible: I have a plan, but I adapt it on the fly to what you need in each moment.

My classes are for any English-speaking student who needs to learn Spanish, from complete beginners (A1 level) up to advanced learners (C1 level) looking to perfect and improve their skills.
