About Andrea
I am a biology student at Imperial College London. I am both Spanish (Spanish mother) and Swedish (Swedish father). However, I have lived in Madrid since the age of 8 when I moved from Stockholm and have always attended a Spanish school. I have already taught subjects like English and mathematics in Spain and in an orphanage in Nepal. Now in London, I am more than excited to teach my native language and cast light on Spanish culture to students. I love languages in general. Due to my double nationality I speak Swedish and Spanish fluently, as well as English, and after spending 6 years studying French and 7 months working in Paris I also speak French.

My teaching method is a very personalized approach depending on the student's specific needs. By this, I am able to create bonds of trust with my student which makes the learning process easier. I am able to change register easily, I can both provide an informal chat or a formal discussion. For younger students, I like game-based learning to balance theory with fun games as I believe the student is able to retain more in this way.
