About Ana
Hello! I’m Ana, a passionate and results-oriented Spanish teacher. I specialize in helping beginners (A1–A2) gain confidence, speak naturally, and master functional Spanish from day one.
My teaching approach is built around Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Learning. I believe learning a new language should be practical, engaging, and directly applicable to real-life situations. Instead of focusing solely on passive grammar rules, my lessons are interactive, dynamic, and structured around real-world scenarios—from ordering coffee and navigating a city to sharing life experiences and making future plans.
What My Classes Offer:
Practical & Goal-Oriented: Every lesson has a clear communicative outcome so you can use what you learn immediately.
️ Conversational Focus: Speak Spanish from the very first session using visual anchors, role-playing, and interactive prompts.
Structured & Organized: Clear progression from core basics to confident conversation with custom materials and guided practice.
Cultural Immersion: Discover the richness, idioms, and everyday culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

️ General Teaching Methodology & Techniques
1. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)
Student-Centered Approach: Lessons focus on real communication rather than mechanical grammar rules.
Functional Learning: Every class targets a practical communication goal (e.g., ordering food, asking for directions).
2. Task-Based & Action-Oriented Learning
Real-World Simulations: Use of authentic materials (menus, schedules, city maps, receipts).
Role-Playing & Scenarios: Active practice of everyday situations in pairs or small groups.
3. Total Physical Response (TPR) & Visual Support
Visual Anchors: Frequent use of flashcards, diagrams, infographics, and gesture-based learning to minimize reliance on translation.
Contextual Clues: Teaching new vocabulary through images, props, and facial expressions.
4. Continuous Engagement & Assessment
Spaced Repetition & Warm-Ups: Brief 5-minute review games at the start of each class to reinforce previously learned concepts.
Immediate & Constructive Feedback: Error correction focused on fluency during activities, saving detailed grammar corrections for wrap-up sessions.
Interactive Dynamics: A mix of pair work, group discussions, and individual presentation prompts to keep energy high.
