About Rene
Good day,
I am a driven teacher with a positive go-getter attitude towards life. I strive to make the best of all opportunities while incorporating fun into it. I am very positive and committed. I love a challenge that stretches my abilities which is the best way of learning new things. I work well in a team. I have great leadership qualities and believe in unity in the workplace. I have fantastic communication skills and people get drawn to my fun, positive and energetic outlook on life. My career started at an early age, while still at school. Aged 14 I started babysitting. I studied Education at the University of Pretoria. A few things I would like to tell you about myself; English & Afrikaans native languages. Great people skills. Very good with computers and any kind of technology, if I don't know the program, I quickly figure it out. I have an eye for detail. Organized and good time management. I have a valid driver license. I currently own and teach at a Preschool in a 5-star resort local on a golf estate. Oubaai Kids is a small school, where we focus on individual attention. There are also kids with special needs that we attend to. I am looking to apply my knowledge and learn from other cultures. I have a TEFL 300 hour level 5 Diploma. My teaching style is a natural approach. I also prefer to use the direct method, to communicate only in English. I help with pronunciation and grammar and prefer the student to explore the language freely. I teach young students , adults and business English. I choose to apply a style that I suitable for the students' requirements.
