This math tutoring set is geared towards middle school students who are in need of a math tutor! I am easy going and very patient with students.
My students will:
Have 1-2 lessons a week
Grow confidence in their math skills
Gain confidence when asking for help
I will:
Create problems and equations that go along with what the student is learning in class
Create a safe space for learning
Engage the student in learning.
My lesson plans consist of 1-2 of study sessions that include fun activities that are based on their school lessons. I run on a 30/15 schedule during sessions. This means we work on problems for 30 mins then take a 15 minute break before moving on.
