About Yanelis
Some tutor's requests can be rude and pushy and make you feel less when you answer something wrong. When I used to get tutored, I felt insecure. My parents paid for tutoring for many years, I felt uncomfortable because they made me feel less as a person because I didn't know the answers. There were many times when I felt behind because the tutor went too fast. I will make sure any of my students don't feel that way with me. My lessons will be entirely "you-paced". Some students may be faster-paced than others; some may be slower-paced. I'm experienced in many issues you believe you may have. Never think of your problems as a weakness, use it as your strength instead.

I would like to create a connection with my students to create a safe learning space, instead of making it seem like it's forced and using authority with them. I will teach the material first and quiz them during parts of it, if they get it incorrect I will not make them feel bad about it. I'll be able to correct their mistake and help them fully understand the concept. Majority of tutors sometimes rush through their lessons to get it over with, treating their students like another name on their list. I will not be doing that at all. I'm going to make sure my student completely understands the lesson, no matter how long it takes I'll make sure they understand it without being harsh or harmful.
