About Nawaz

Hi there! I'm currently in my sophomore year at IIT Bhubaneswar pursuing Mechanical Engineering. I'm an avid reader with a keen interest in Math, Physics & Chemistry( Organic in particular ) and I'm here to help you ease through your difficulties in the subjects that might seem a little too daunting. I started taking classes a year ago and for my first class, I ended up teaching Engineering Mathematics to a first-year undergrad student from whom I received good reviews which bolstered up my confidence in being able to take classes up-to higher secondary level without any issues.

I have so far thought a couple of students on SuperProf from whom I received a positive response further enabling me to be confident enough in being able to effectively teach students.

About the lesson

I believe in teaching through real-life scenarios & examples whenever & wherever possible. My methodology in entirely based on understanding & strengthening basics rather than solving a large number of problems, I do however go through some of the standard models of question that could be of some importance to the given theory. I try avoiding unnecessary jargon and stick to explaining things in as simple a manner as I can and don't proceed until the student has a sufficient degree of confidence in being able to solve whatever is thrown at him in that particular topic. I have strong interpersonal skills helping me interact effectively with students and thereby narrow down on issues they face while learning the subject.

Nawaz is technically sound with whatever he teaches, his classes are very interactive and engaging. He makes sure any doubt, even if it seems insignificant in the student's mind is clarified before proceeding ahead. He's a very approachable person and spends a lot of effort to successfully convey the subject.

Nawaz is very good at being able to effectively communicate the subject. He's extremely friendly, extremely approachable and doesn't proceed until all doubts arising in a student's mind are effectively clarified. He almost always backs a concept with a real-life example whenever & wherever possible. He tries to keep the class very interactive thereby increasing effective discussions on the topic which help to better tackle misconceptions regarding a topic/concept.
