About Abby
I am a sophomore English and education major at the University of Dallas in Irving, TX. I have been tutoring students of all ages in reading, writing, and literature analysis for three years. I specialize in classic literature and essay writing. My students have gone on to achieve high grades in their classes and show a new passion for literature which will help them in all their future academic endeavors.

I feel a great passion for literature and I pour that passion into my teaching. I get to know each student individually and design a way of learning best suited to their personal needs. I am not one to believe in the “memorize and regurgitate” form of learning; I encourage my students to truly interact with and think critically about the material so that they truly learn what I teach and will be able to use the knowledge and skills I have given them for the rest of their life.
