About Aliyah
Hi. My name is Aliyah. I am an A-level student studying English Literature, Psychology and History. I have always loved English because I am able to freely write and express my opinions. My love for English was increased due to my English teacher whose passion and excellent teaching skills improved my writing and ultimately led me to get grade nines in both English Literature and Language. My teacher inspired me and I hope to pass this passion to other students which led me to consider tutoring.

Lessons would be tailored depending on the learning style of the student. Engagement is prioritised and discussions are key for my teaching. For English Literature, there would be a focus on how to write a successful high-level answer—this could be either novels or poetry. For English Language, there would be a focus on the differences between structure and language questions. There would also be a focus on narration and description stories.
