I am an embedded software engineer with an experience of 3 years as a full time math and IT teacher at an international school for both the British and the American curriculums including the normal school's curriculum from grade 7 to the diplomas (GCSE and SAT)

I normally start any new lesson by giving a general idea about the aim of studying this particular topic and an overview about the applications and real examples in order to deep understanding the theory, how to use in normal life, and the benefits of its application which makes it much more easier to understand the rules, theory and the methods by linking them to real examples and makes it really hard to forget by building more memory links to it .
As a warm up I prefer to quickly revise and practice solving problems from previous lessons, especially the ones that related to the current one and then moving on gradually from simple problem to the level of the exams itself.
I believe that Math can be the best subject for every and each student by deeply understanding how to manage solving different sort of problems and being confident in the way and the rules that he/she are using.
