About Odin

I was born in Mexico, so Spanish is my native language. My academic background includes a degree in Sociology and a technical degree as a Programmer Analyst, providing me with a unique perspective to teach the language from both cultural and technical viewpoints.

I’ve had the privilege of traveling throughout Mexico, experiencing firsthand the country’s rich and diverse culture. I have also visited Latin American countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru, gaining a deep understanding of the regional variations of Spanish. My travels to Canada and the United States have further enriched my appreciation of intercultural dynamics.

I’m passionate about thought-provoking films and books that explore the human experience, as they help expand my perspectives on life. I firmly believe that learning a language goes beyond mere words; it’s about engaging in meaningful conversations that open doors to new ways of thinking and understanding the world.

About the lesson

Dicen que: "hablando se entiende la gente" and I believe that’s exactly what learning a language is about: talking about everyday and interesting things, about deep and reflective topics, about a great movie or an adventure in an exotic country. It’s about sharing and listening to experiences from places where culture presents a different version of what we consider everyday life, reflecting on the ultimate meaning of the human experience.
