About Jules
I have a BA in English, Literature and Civilisation with my speciality being French as a Foreign Language and I am currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Sociocultural Linguistics.
I have professional experience in language teaching, both French and English and in the classroom, in small groups and in one-to-one tutoring private lessons. I am also currently working as a freelance linguist and offer translation, transcription and proofreading services.

These lessons are aimed at A-level students with an interest in Linguistics or people considering starting an undergraduate degree in Linguistics.
I wish to introduce students to the main areas of English Linguistics and provide them with a deeper understanding of phonetics, morphology, syntax and semantics.
I do not claim to be a qualified higher education researcher/professor of Linguistics in any way, I merely wish to offer the introduction to this field I wish I had had before starting studying it myself.

I charge £30 per hour.
The first lesson is free and will last 45min.
Free cancellation until 24 hours before the scheduleded class. If class is cancelled less than 24 hours before, 50% of the normal price will be charged.
