About Jennifer
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in history, another Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and a Master’s in education. I have spent 7 years in the classroom (1 year in middle school and 6 years in both traditional and alternative high school) and I have 4 years experience at the college level and differentiate and scaffold my lessons to meet student needs, strengthen their understanding, and develop their strengths in social studies topics.

I have 7 years experience teaching both middle school and high school and four years experience teaching at the college level. My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and facilitate learning regardless of ability. I provide one-on-one instruction to those who need extra attention or assistance. While all my experience in the classroom is from middle school through college, I also am able to provide tutoring to students in elementary school due to my experience helping my own child with their homework and lessons.
