About Hubert
I teach Maths using small manageable steps making it easy for all. I hold a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE from University of Roehampton. I excelled in Maths, Physics and Chemistry through GCSE and A-Level and have a passion for Maths and Science subjects. I build on students' mistakes and misconceptions to embed Mathematical concepts into students' long-term memory. My lessons are so engaging because I have good questioning skills that help me identify the level at which my students were previously, where they currently are, and where they want to go and I strive to ensure that they achieve their full potential through scaffolding those that need extra support and challenging those that need to be challenged. I am a fully qualified teacher currently teaching ages 11-16 and part-time tutoring during some evenings and over the weekend. I look forward to making you love Maths.
