About Aaron
I am a serious, punctual and adaptable person with an aptitude for technology and a keen interest in helping people. I am well traveled and I have a broad range of interests, including visual arts, music, electronic, media, literature, politics, history and geography. I am an artist and cultural worker with decades of experience as a public speaker and a writer of songs, poetry, essays, scenarios and grants. Over the years, I have taught students within a diversity of environments, including high schools, colleges, universities and professional development settings. For me, the most essential skill as a teacher is to be a good listener.

As a tutor, I am interested in adapting lessons to meet you where you are. Mastery of a language is a lifelong pursuit and each individual encounters a unique set of challenges on this journey. Preparing a good lesson plan requires attentive listening and a capacity to adapt one's approach to fit each student's specific goals.
A typical lesson plan could include a dynamic discussion concerning a topic relevant to the student's interests and/or career.
For a student interested in improving their writing skills, lessons would include writing drills concerning a specific subject, followed by live analysis pertaining to grammar, style and sentence structure.
My experience and skills are best suited for adults learning English as a second language, especially those with a background speaking French or Spanish.
