About My Tutoring Approach
My name is Egieyemhe, a dedicated and patient Mathematics and Economics tutor committed to helping students understand concepts clearly and improve their academic performance.
My Teaching Techniques & Methodology
I use a student-centered and practical approach to teaching. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s level, strengths, and areas of difficulty. I explain concepts step-by-step, use simple examples and real-life applications, encourage students to ask questions, and give exercises to assess their understanding.
For Mathematics, I focus on building strong foundational skills, logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. I also use revision exercises, past questions, classwork, and regular assessments to track progress.
Typical Lesson Length
A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student's age, level, concentration, and learning needs.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Benin (UNIBEN). I have practical teaching experience as a Mathematics and Economics Teacher and Academic Coordinator, where I worked with students at different academic levels and helped them develop stronger understanding and confidence in their subjects.
