About Opal
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 9 years of experience teaching guitar to students from different age groups, including high school students, college learners, and adults. During this time, I have successfully taught around 300 students and helped many beginners build confidence in their guitar playing. My teaching philosophy is centred around patience, encouragement, and step-by-step progress.
I believe students learn best when lessons are simple, structured, and enjoyable. In my classes, I teach the essential skills every guitarist needs, including chords, rhythm exercises, strumming techniques, and finger coordination.
These fundamentals help students build strong playing ability. I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy so they stay motivated to practise. Teaching a large number of students has given me the experience to guide learners with different goals and learning styles.
Some of my students have performed in school and college events, which shows their improvement and confidence. My goal is to help students develop strong guitar skills and enjoy the journey of learning music.

My Guitar teaching methodology focuses on structured learning combined with creativity and practical experience. I believe that clear communication helps students learn faster and feel more confident. Students start with important basics such as chords, rhythm patterns, strumming techniques, scales, and finger exercises. These fundamentals help build strong Guitar playing skills.
I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s learning pace and preferences. I also use real-life musical examples and song demonstrations to show how Guitar techniques work in real music. This makes learning more interesting and meaningful.
Along with Guitar training, I introduce related subjects such as basic music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These areas help students develop a deeper understanding of music. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident and creative Guitar players.
