About Hannah
I am a professional writer and editor who has been working freelance in the field for over 3 years, though my actual writing experience extends back much further. Writing is my passion, the way in which I best express myself, so naturally I find myself drawn to any work involving writing. I have been freelance proofreading and editing for companies and individuals for the past few years, and I have been tutoring for about 5 years, my students ranging in age from early elementary to adolescent. Helping others learn and achieve new things is another of my great passions, therefore I find work as a tutor very fulfilling and always commit myself fully to any student or project I may be working with until they feel comfortable and absolutely satisfied with the end result of our work together.

The way in which I approach teaching each of my students is very individualized and based on each person's unique optimal methods of learning, as I believe we all receive information in different ways. I start by getting to know the student on a more personal level, and get to understand how best they learn, whether that be by writing, reading, doing, or hearing. We will work the method in whatever way necessary so that their leaning needs are accommodated and they feel as though they can understand the information I am imparting. We then move forward with this approach. I like to allow the student as much opportunity to arrive at a solution on their own, acting more as a guide for their own intelligence. This way they can get to understand themselves and the way that they learn better so that eventually they will no longer need mine or anyone's assistance in their education, whatever that may be, and they can confidently go forward knowing what they need to do in order to make the content of what they are trying to learn understandable for themselves no matter what the subject.
