About Elizabeth
Hi, I am Elizabeth and I am a school teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree, a certificate to Teach English to Foreign learners (TEFL) and a certificate to Teach English (Foundational Principles) from The Arizona State University (ASU). I am also a Microsoft Certified Educator. In class, I tutor from known to unknown, simple to complex, I use a lot of TPR, I adopt rhymes, props and I sometimes use mental pictures that are relatable. To arouse my learners' interest and motivation, I create a virtual reward system, conduct virtual tours and I adopt Interactive platforms in my classroom I enjoy playing chess, meeting new people and I love eating pasta.

*Teaching Experience* I have over 5 years of teaching experience, working with elementary learners. I have a Bachelor's degree, a certificate to Teach English to Foreign learners (TEFL) and a certificate to Teach English (Foundational Principles) from The Arizona State University (ASU). I'm also a Microsoft Certified Educator. I understand how to engage my learners to achieve the best learning experience. I adopt a variety of methods when teaching to drive home the message. I use interactive platforms, Microsoft learning tools, quizzes and drills in my classes. I have worked with many Elementary learners who could not read but in a short while, they conquered their fears and became fluent learners. I have also worked with young learners to build their proficiency in Grammar and Creative Writing. Students from various schools have been invited to my class. I connect with my learners as friends and class is always fun.
