About Cara
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 2 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Radiochemistry, with a passion for food chemistry and nutrition. I focus on helping students understand how chemistry applies to everyday food and health. My lessons connect scientific concepts to real-life situations.
I teach macromolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, explaining their structure and role in the body. I also cover food additives and how they affect taste, preservation, and quality. Metabolic processes are explained in a simple and practical way.
I use dietary analysis and food-based examples to make learning interactive. Students also explore how chemical reactions happen during cooking. This makes chemistry more engaging and useful.
My goal is to make chemistry easy and relevant. Let’s work together to understand food, health, and science in a deeper way.

My teaching approach in Chemistry is simple, structured, and focused on solving problems step by step. I help students understand each part of a concept before moving forward. This builds a strong base in topics like stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and balancing equations.
I guide students through calculations carefully, showing how each step connects to the next. Reaction kinetics is explained using practical examples so students can understand how reactions behave over time. This makes learning more meaningful.
I give regular practice problems to improve accuracy and confidence. I also adjust my teaching based on the student’s level. This helps them learn without pressure.
I support learners in improving their precision and logical thinking. Each lesson focuses on understanding chemical change clearly. The goal is to help students become confident and accurate in Chemistry.
