About Sarah
I am a skilled and devoted educator with experience in teaching preschool and elementary pupils. I have adapted teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. I provide interactive and meaningful learning material to students, maintain positive learning atmosphere for active participation of students, assigne homework, and conduct periodic assessments to measure student growth and progress.

My approach to private tutoring differs, it depends on the student’s needs and learning style. My teaching philosophy however is based on encouraging students to use their metacognition skills (think for themselves), using real-world examples wherever possible. I will start with topics the students are comfortable with and move gradual steps towards the more complex topics as they build on their confidence. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don’t lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students’ homework for them!
