About Teresha

I am currently a sixth form student studying A-level Biology and Chemistry, with a strong academic background in GCSE Maths and Science. Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I understand the current curriculum, exam techniques and the newer challenges students face.

I am patient, reliable and committed to helping students build confidence as well as improve their understanding. My lessons are well prepared, supportive and tailored to each student's needs, creating a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Whether a student needs help understanding difficult topics, keeping up with classwork, or preparing for GCSE exams, I aim to make Maths and Science clear, engaging and enjoyable while helping them achieve their best.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual learning needs. I believe every student can succeed in GCSE Maths and Science with the right guidance, encouragement and clear explanations. Lessons are adapted to each student's strengths and areas for improvement, helping to build confidence alongside a strong understanding of key concepts.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are carefully structured to maximise learning. Each session includes a review of previous topics, clear explanations of new concepts, worked examples, guided practice and exam style questions to reinforce learning. There is also a strong focus on exam techniques, problem-solving skills and strategies to improve accuracy and confidence.

With experience supporting GCSE students in Maths and Science, lessons are designed to suit different learning styles and abilities. The aim is to create a positive, patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to make consistent progress.

Lessons are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities, whether they need help with challenging topics, preparation for exams, or support to improve their grades. Every lesson is personalised to help students develop confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
