About Hamdaan

I am currently a student in a local Sixth Form college studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry (Predicted A*A*A*A; respectively) and am interested in making the STEM field more accessible and more interesting.

I have achieved grade 9's in all the subjects I plan to teach (after much perseverance from myself) and have helped numerous friends with passing exams saving them a copious amount of time with needing resits in Maths GCSE (from grades 2 to grades 6)

Also as I revise for my own studies, I do many past papers and after marking and analysing all of them I have a great understanding of what aspects an examiner wants in an answer and the easiest ways to achieve the said answer. And will explain this in the easiest possible way.

I plan to apply to Medicine this year and have a deep and rooted interest in the Bioscience and Medical field and also have a great interest in Maths and Physics.

About the lesson

Many students have a misunderstanding that 'STEM is too hard' or is 'boring'. This couldn't be further from the truth! As I know that there is so much more to the field, and there can be so much enjoyment if you have the right person, with good social skills and relatability (as I am also a student!) teaching you! So I wish to bring you more understanding and more developement in the STEM subjects as I understand it's very challenging at times, especially considering the surplus of lost learning with the pandemic

I plan to tackle this with short and effective lessons revising key methods and exam techniques, with past papers and, up to date and relevant exam questions. And will answer and explain in-depth any question the student has, with no judgement whatsoever in a friendly and caring environment.

I will also assess the papers or tests that you have done in school and will see key areas where there is a need for improvement or development. And then will set out a study plan for you and will help you with any weak areas or any gaps in knowledge.

Either through a virtual online classroom (ie. Teams, Zoom, Discord, Skype etc.) or face to face teaching (although this can only take place after lockdown restrictions in the area have been eased)

I teach from;
- Weekdays (term time) 16:30 - 19:30
- Weekends or Holidays 12:00 - 17:00

Please note: not all times will be available as there may be odd days where other work of mine may need to be completed.

Also, there will be a cancellation fee (£1 for every lesson), although rescheduling is perfectly fine!
