About Amy
I am a sixth form student, having completed secondary education at The Perse School in Cambridge with a scholarship and top grades in all subjects. I have been tutoring for half a year and my tutees have had measureable success, from moving up a maths set to passing entrance exams. I am always providing help to classmates with homework and explanations, in addition to having worked at a summer school as a teaching assistant on a science/English course. For a group of around 15 students, I individually explained concepts, checked their understanding, and helped them with their presentations - they all graduated, happy, with good marks.

I am experienced, friendly, enthusiastic, and patient, providing lessons to whomever requires extra tutoring up to KS3 level in maths and sciences. I can also tutor for 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations.
I will provide a range of exercises and questions for us to work through together, explaining as we go along, in order to develop technique and understanding as well as knowledge. If the tutoring is for a specific exam, I strongly believe in the use of past papers and markschemes, which will be closely analysed and followed in order to maximise marks and improve exam technique.
