About Sachini
Teaching a language is one of the most inspiring activities that I have partaken in. I am confident that I could make my students enjoy the language. I help them embrace the culture of the language by adding Sinhala literature to my teaching; I will use extracts from legendary novels, poems and drama to make the learning experience enjoyable.

Speaking, reading and writing and then basic grammar. I hr online for curious learners; pace customised to learners' ability. I am a Sri Lankan Oncologist with a keen interest in teaching. I enjoy teaching, and having studied Sinhala with great interest, I am now looking to teach it to anyone of any age with a passion for learning the language and the rich culture that Sri Lanka has to offer. Being a country nourished by Buddhism, learning to read and write Sinhala will also open a new doorway and equip you with tools to explore the peaceful world the religion offers. Even if you want to go on a holiday to the tropical island, learning Sinhala will help you fully appreciate the culture.
