About Nina
I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. My focus is on creating a relaxed, encouraging space where learning feels fun and low-pressure.
I guide students in breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindful music-making. We work on tone development and exploring your unique voice. I teach genres like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether it’s choir singing, karaoke, or casual social singing.
I love helping students rediscover singing as a form of self-care, creativity, and confidence. Each session is designed to make progress enjoyable and sustainable. I celebrate small wins and help you feel proud of your voice. You are welcome to start or restart your singing journey at any age. Singing should always be a source of joy. My teaching approach focuses on building strong, sustainable vocal habits. I guide singers in breath control, posture, and tone development for long-term health. Lessons include strategies for managing vocal fatigue and recovering after performances.
