• 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I started singing when I was 8 years old. I had this unstoppable desire to sing anything I heard. At the age of 11, I was selected as the number candidate with full boarding scholarship to State Opera and Ballet Conservatory. There I finished my education on top of my class with a profession in Performance Arts and Music Faculty, Opera Singing Division.

• 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I have deep appreciation of classical music and opera. To be able to play and sing on the stage makes you feel the aura of the art and performance, create a deep attachment to musical performance and the composers. When this is combined with geniune appreciation, applause and support from the audience every week for over 20 years, you almost live in a dreamland.

• 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  Tutoring helps me to create new dreams for other people. No matter what age and level they are, the dreams live inside us. I bring out those feelings and turned them into real excitement, passion, and performance.

• 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Yes, in my career, I followed the sopranos who are considered legends in classical opera. Lucia Popp, Leyla Gencer, Edita Gruberova, Erna Sack.

• 5) What are your keys to success?

  I think my passion about singing is contagious. Once the student knows he/she can perform, then the excitement sets in, success follows, rewards can be great.
