About Katie
A professional actor, I have been teaching singing and drama to students of all ages for over ten years. I trained at Mountview in a Masters in Musical Theatre. As an actor I feel it is super important to pass on everything I've learnt to others, to allow them to have the same great benefits and experiences I have been lucky enough to have from singing and acting

Looking to improve singing technique or learn a new skill? Ready to build your confidence? Want someone who works with you? With lessons catering to all ages and abilities Katie is here to help! Free Trials available - please see below! With over ten years teaching experience, Katie has gained diplomas in singing and trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview. Katie has experience teaching adults and children 6+. Young Voices Lessons: These sessions are specifically designed for young people aged 6-16. With the option to complete graded exams, lessons are often 30 mins and work on building the basic foundations of good singing and acting technique from a young age with a focus on confidence and joy! Katie has achieved 100% pass rate with merit or above in all exams her students have completed. So, whether you would like LAMDA Musical Theatre or LCM Musical Theatre or Pop, Katie can discuss the best choice for you. A first lesson with young voices will start with some exercises and a chat about what it is the student likes. You will then talk through how lessons work – but most importantly you will sing! Still not sure? Why not sign up for a trial lesson - a first 30 min session Free! Adult sessions: Designed for anyone aged 16+ these sessions can be for a range for a range of things. Need a drop-in session ahead of an audition? Or want to work on your singing technique long term? These are things Katie can cater for. Drama school auditions, audition prep, singing technique and acting through song are all options available. A first lesson for adults will consist of discussing the students interests and what they would like to gain from the lessons. Katie will then work through some exercises with you to determine what sort of things should be the first priority to work on. In the first lesson Katie will ask you to come prepared with a song you love singing so you can get down to it nice and quickly! Still not sure?
