About Emily Rose

As a Northern actor and singer with over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of performing across a range of styles and stages. While I love being on stage and screen, my true passion lies in teaching and helping others unlock their potential. Being neurodivergent (dyslexic and ADHD), I understand the unique challenges that can arise when navigating the industry, and I’m committed to helping performers overcome those barriers. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing students grow in confidence, master techniques, and smash their auditions. Whether you're preparing for a performance or want to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. As a lifelong lover of theatre and film, I take joy in sharing the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years, empowering performers to achieve their best!

About the lesson

Singing Lessons:
I hold a Master's in Musical Theatre and have over 10 years of experience in various singing styles, including jazz, pop, rock, country, and classical. I believe that every singer has the potential to be versatile, mastering multiple styles while developing their unique voice.

My singing lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals. Typically, lessons are an hour long and focus on:

Vocal technique – Building and refining healthy, powerful vocal habits
Acting through song – Conveying emotion and storytelling through your performance
Dynamic repertoire and audition prep – Building a versatile songbook and helping you nail any audition

Acting Lessons:
With extensive training in both stage and screen acting, I specialize in audition preparation, whether it's for Drama School or professional auditions. I work with both Contemporary and Classical pieces. My approach focuses on breaking down scenes, exploring character work, and refining your performance to highlight your strengths. Together, we’ll create a nuanced, authentic piece that reflects your talent and preparation.
