About Ashley
I have a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and 8 years of experience teaching singing to students of all ages using supportive, confidence-building methods. I specialize in helping beginners feel comfortable with their voice while learning proper techniques that keep their voice healthy and strong. My teaching approach includes immediate feedback during lessons, which research shows helps singers develop proper technique 50% faster than delayed correction methods. I have helped students perform at school talent shows, community events, and some have even pursued music scholarships for college. Students receive personalized vocal progress certificates, access to my exclusive practice track library, and can participate in special virtual recitals to showcase their improvements.

Singing lessons are all about helping you discover the beautiful voice you already have inside! We start with simple breathing exercises that feel like fun games, then learn proper posture using easy techniques that work for singers of all ages. You get to choose the songs you want to sing - whether that's current pop hits, classic songs, Disney tunes, or any music that makes you happy. I demonstrate healthy singing techniques first, then we sing together, and finally you perform while I give you immediate, encouraging feedback to help you sound amazing. If you're interested in learning piano too, I can teach you basic chords and melodies to accompany your singing - this is completely optional and included at no extra cost. Every lesson includes achievable goals, practice exercises, and lots of positive reinforcement that builds your confidence and helps you improve quickly.
