For instance, a supplemental material such as a study sheet. You may be thinking, "Why don't you just pull something off of the internet?". Well, the truth is I will be looking through textbooks that I have and, yes, also, looking online for good problems to give a tutee; however, I do not want you doing a full page of these inequalities say, when I only want you to just do a few more for my peace of mind that the lesson will not be lost due to difficulty of and not enough practice on the topic, but of a certain type that is being hard for the tutee to grasp fully. Then I want to do another few problems of a very certain type... and it goes on until the study sheet is adequate to fulfill the tutee's needs.

It is easy to see how the study sheets can take a while sometimes to construct, and hence the range of pricing on them. Please, do not think that this is me trying to push materials for more money on you, that is not my reason for giving out supplemental worksheets. Especially, as they are not required unless asked to be created, and I will at times, when concerned, suggest some.

Heavier materials, such as an assessment test, will take me significantly more work. These cost about $80-$120. These tests are typically for a student to take when they or their parent want me to reteach a student who could not grasp very much in a subject such as Pre-Algebra. These tests allow me to figure out what I need only give a brief overview, such as one or two sessions, and the problematic areas for the tutee which will take a full set of lessons for these topics. The price will vary on the difficulty of the subject, and please be truthful with me about your financial situations because I do consider that, too. I try to be as fair as I can. I have a few already made assessment tests, and for these I would only charge 1/2 price.

For instance, an assessment test for Algebra is going to be significantly cheaper than a parent or student wanting me to teach them the full year of single variable Calculus I and II.

Lastly, please note that both of our times are very important. I have a policy that if you do not cancel by text or phone call within 24 hours of the tutoring session, I must charge ½ price, and if I am unable to call or text within 24 hours of the tutoring session, once again, ½ price replacement session and a new appointment at your earliest convenience in my openings. Wednesdays are saved for typical “make up” days.
