About Tiago

Initially, an informal oral assessment and online test is conducted to establish the student's English level. Some people get a little shy about this approach, but it's essential. Seeing where we are going wrong or how skillful we are is the most important thing we can do to improve ourselves.

The methodology follows the basis of Raymond Murphy's English Grammar, an excellent Cambridge material and fully established in English teaching. In addition to this, online tests, study of lyrics and textbooks, and focus on conversation are present in the classes.

I do not charge material and send a complete pdf with the packages. It is recommended for the student or student to purchase a lesson package in order to plan an efficient schedule according to their needs. Let's speak english! Or... Portuguese!

About the lesson

Hello everybody! My name is James, I am a chemist and passionate about learning languages. After reaching a level of fluent English, I now learn Russian and German. After observing the nuances between such different languages, my mode of teaching has become intrinsically dynamic, as I know each of the points of different difficulties for learning acquisition, from phonics to grammar. My goal here is to make you increase your number of concepts, not just the number of words. Ever wonder how you learned Portuguese? Such a difficult language with so many verb tenses and difficult conjugations that we learned as children! Yes, we don't remember, but we learn from the concepts and images that such words form in our mind. This makes a definite impression and so you learn the language forever. This is what I will do to you and the Englishman! Be sure to improve your level with a teacher with more than 2 years of experience in private tutoring for different levels and living abroad: - One year of study at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, with classes taught entirely in English - 6 months of Master's research in Wuppertal, Germany. - I have TOEFL IBT and ITP exams and I also teach proficiency exams
