About Tejas
I'm Tejas — a software engineer of 10 years, former Lead Engineer at Autodesk in San Francisco, and founder of an AI startup, recently moved to Dublin for a MBA at UCD. Teaching found me before this ad did: while building an AI-powered programming tutor, I spent months teaching AI concepts to computer science students at Silicon Valley colleges, and their 'aha' moments became my favorite part of the work. I teach because AI is becoming the defining skill of this decade, yet most explanations make it seem harder than it is. My promise: patience, plain language, and real projects — you'll understand how modern AI actually works and build things you're proud of.

My lessons are hands-on from the first hour: we build real things — a model, a chatbot, a small AI product — and pick up the theory as we need it, not the other way around. I start by understanding your goal (a university course, a career switch, or pure curiosity) and design a personal roadmap around it. A typical lesson runs 60 minutes online: a short concept walkthrough, then live coding together, and you leave with a project milestone and exercises for the week. I've spent 10 years building software, shipped an AI assistant at Autodesk handling around 10,000 interactions a day, and now run my own AI startup — so I teach the way real AI work is actually done. Lessons suit complete beginners, university students and working professionals alike.
