About Riza
As a signed recording artist and songwriter, I actively live the process that I teach. I understand both the creative and emotional sides of being an artist, not just the technical.
My sessions are a no-judgment zone, where you’re encouraged to be fully open, expressive, and yourself. I balance support with honest guidance, helping you grow while staying true to who you are.
I can help you connect to your identity as an artist and build the confidence to share it. I truly believe your story deserves to be heard!

My approach is deeply personalized and rooted in each student’s unique voice and artistic goals. I take time to understand what you want to express through your music, then tailor each session to help you get there.
As a songwriter, I believe great music starts with honesty and awareness. I guide students through techniques like journaling, storytelling, and active listening across different genres to expand their creativity. We’ll also explore chord progressions, melody building, and lyrical structure in a way that feels natural and inspiring, not forced.
I create a space where inspiration is constant, and where your real-life experiences become the foundation of your artistry.
Depending on your needs and creative flow, a typical lesson may include:
-Vocal warmups and technique building
-Exploring basic chord progressions (especially on piano)
-Song structure and arrangement
-Lyric writing and storytelling exercises
-Vocal delivery coaching for clarity and emotional expression
-Guidance on selecting and preparing songs for recording
Students will also receive light, creative homework such as journaling, listening exercises, and practicing vocals or songwriting ideas between sessions :)
My lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginners to developing artists. Whether you’re just starting to explore songwriting or looking to refine your sound and performance, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow from there.
