I have been teaching online for 7 years now (since 2019) and fell into this line of work because I was based in Poland at the time :)

Since there was a niche for Polish people to practice and strengthen their English as it’s not a native language to them, I saw an opportunity to give it a try. I found that I enjoyed it very much and have never looked back since.

I love connecting with my students and find such joy when they start to show progress for the langauge.

I hope I am able to do the same for you too! :)

About the lesson

Hi all!

I am a native English speaker from Kuala Lumpur. A little background about myself; I am 37 years old and have been living abroad on and off since 2015. During that time I have travelled across Asia and Europe. I have also lived in Thailand and Poland.

Back 2019, when I was living in Poland, was where I first found my love for teaching Conversational English. My niche has always been Polish citizens, as I was living there at the time and they continue to be my students up till this very day.

However, I am now trying to broaden my teaching scope and I am hoping to venture out to teaching others outside of Poland.

Qualifications: I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and have also worked in the Communications Department of a British International School in Kuala Lumpur for over four years.

Lessons: I mainly focus on conversational English. What does this mean exactly? This means that a huge majority of my lessons will be focused on “casual conversations”, this is great for those who would like to improve on their English communication skills.

This will be helpful to you if you are starting a new job where having a high proficiency in English is required or if you just want to practice your English.

Do not be intimidated as I will be adjusting my conversational lessons based on your level of understanding and current level of English. I also will be correcting your grammar as and when we converse so you are able to understand and remember where you went wrong.

I like to make things fun, because once you enjoy doing something, the rest will come easily too! My usual tools to use when it comes to my classes are online publications, articles, blogs, and YouTube videos.

Free trial (20 minutes)

During the trial session, my goal would be to learn about your needs as well as to gauge your current level of English. Please note: Basic level of English required.

AVAILABLE TIMING:

I'm quite flexible with my timing, any day of the week, especially in the mornings but I will not be available in the afternoons as those time slots will be prioritised and allocated for my existing Polish students.
